El Museo de Enfermería «Iralda Benítez de Núñez» (MEIBN) forma parte del Sistema Integrado de Museos y Herbarios de la Universidad Central y cuenta con aproximadamente de 4500 piezas entre los que se encuentran bienes muebles, instrumental científico, textiles, fotografías, negativos fotográficos, material educativo y documentos,
Esta colección resulta de gran valor para quienes formaron parte de la Escuela Nacional de Enfermería porque es depositaria de la memoria institucional, sin embargo, en ella se encuentra la historia misma del desarrollo y evolución de la enfermería universitaria en el Ecuador siendo una fuente primaria para los investigadores y expertos dentro del campo.
