El Museo de la Moneda del Banco Central del Ecuador, a través de la exposición permanente conformada por bienes culturales arqueológicos, numismáticos, notafílicos y filatélicos, ofrece un hilo conductor sobre el proceso histórico de la moneda del país poniéndolo en valor social.
Los servicios que brinda el museo son: mediaciones educativas, lúdicas, especializadas, en español y en inglés, talleres educativos, colonias vacacionales, charlas numismáticas, conversatorios, exposiciones temporales. Además, cuenta con un punto de venta de productos numismáticos.
