Investigado desde los años 80, presenta una necrópolis perteneciente al período de Integración, caracterizado por tumbas de pozo profundo (hasta 16 metros) con evidencia de entierros múltiples. El rico ajuar funerario encontrado demuestra que se trata de una sociedad de la cultura Quito, altamente jerarquizada, en donde los miembros de la élite eran enterrados con abundante concha Spondylus, adornos de oro, cascabeles de cobre y vasijas con pintura negativa.
